Running Lifestyle

Humans are creatures of habit. Those who have been running long enough essentially function on auto-pilot. Other runners, who are newbies, would need to try a bit harder to find their stride in order to turn their occasional jogging into a lifelong habit.

For persistent runners, the physical and mental benefits can be downright awesome—we’re talking runner’s high, chiseled calves, a healthy heart and more. But, if you can’t make it out for a run on a regular basis, you’ll miss out on these benefits. Instead, you may be prone to injuries, soreness, and an overwhelming desire to give up running all together.

Running is a lifestyle. There will be days when the weather is bad. There will be days when you’re running on four hours of sleep. There will be days when you’re bored and frustrated. When this happens, stick with it!

Remember how much you’ve come to love the feeling during and after a good run. Remember the pride you feel after reaching your goal distance or time. Remember that each mile gets you closer to your goal—losing weight, running a half marathon, breaking a PR etc.

Wherever you fall along the spectrum of runners—veteran marathoner, couch potato, or anything in between – our community is here to help. The tools and resources available to you will provide you with the motivation you need to integrate running into your lifestyle and never give it up.
